19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden trophy for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult year, winning just one win at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serve in specific - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-term coach his previous coach.
Currently working with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the last few weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is the player's maiden trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface after that period of that year.
The win also signifies the Russian has achieved 21 championships at 21 various competitions.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters together, so to get a trophy is especially meaningful," stated world number 14 the champion.
"This championship is in tribute of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his last six finals, including in Halle previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive play style and recurring outbursts on court had prompted observers to question if his skill to perform at the top level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has altered his approach in recent weeks, striving to come to the net and perform positively, supported by an enhanced service.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the first set against the challenging Moutet, securing four of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players swapped break points in the middle set before Moutet, striving for his first tour victory, seized the initiative to push for a third set.
Moutet saved 4 initial chances in a competitive deciding set before Medvedev won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Suitably, the winner earned the title with a shot at the front of the court, with the Frenchman failing to manage a return after over two and a half hours.
